Great Western Malting had technical team members on site at CBC this year to share flavor notes, malt characteristics and offer a tasting sample of Dark Munich, the latest new product out of our Malt Innovation Center (MIC). We enjoyed seeing everyone at our booth. We hope you had the opportunity to taste the malt and speak with a malting technical staff member.

In our brewing trials and sensory analysis, Dark Munich contributes a vibrant red hue, malt forward flavor, and delicate roasted characteristics. Hints of coffee and chocolate are balanced alongside subtle sweetness, toastiness, and biscuit notes.
